ASD.
Private insurances are mandated to cover aba services however they do
not cover developmental disabilities at this time.

Can I use my NDIS funding to cover services (AUS)?
Yes, you can, reach out to admin.aus@familyappliedbehavioral.com to discuss your individualized plan specifics.
Which documents do I need to request services (USA)?
A diagnostic report, an updated aba prescription/referral, copy of insurance card(s).
What does the intake process look like?
Once we have a team ready to work with your child, a member of our team will reach out to you to set up an intake assessment. After the intake assessment has been completed, the behavior analyst will take between 2-4 weeks to generate a report and build a comprehensive Behavior Support Plan (BSP) that fits your child’s needs. The BSP is then submitted to the insurance company for approval and authorization of therapy hours.
For self-pay clients, the process follows the same guidelines except for the submission of approval to the insurance company.
How long do services last?
The number of services provided are based on an individual basis. Insurance companies will authorize treatment for time periods of 3, 6, 12 months at a time. A new plan update will need to be submitted for continuation of services as needed.
